WASK was founded in 1888 in Yorkshire, England by Walter A. Slingsby of Keighley, (hence the acronym WASK). In 2003 the business was taken over by Crane Ltd, the UK subsidiary of the American Crane Co.

The huge resources of Crane Co, coupled with WASK’s 130 years’ experience enables the Company to meet the stringent demands of the worldwide gas utility market.
